The comprehensive training sessions include approx. 100  hours (plus hospitation time) containing lessons from numerous areas. ### The following topics are taught by Profil Germany - Pre-clinical activities, Phases I to IV, approval via European Medicines Agency and US Food and Drug Administration - Pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics / clinical pharmacology / toxicology - Regulatory activities including audits and authority inspections - Quality management, and monitoring - Project management (i.e. milestones, development of trial logistics, trial protocols, study preparation and -performance, resource-management) - Diabetes / metabolic diseases - Hospitation: investigation methods at Profil Germany ### In addition, there are a number of modules taught by IHK - Work organisation and self-management - Basics of communication - Working in a team - Working with patients - Medical English – English terminology - Basics of employee management We offer an ongoing education for all of our study nurses / study assistants. The costs are funded by Profil. Class times are considered working hours. The program ends with an official examination of the "IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein".
